Love to walk/bike

Biking is amazing on a relatively well adjusted bike. Some days walking everywhere is a bit much, so thus, the bike gets employed! I'm Dan and I'm very grateful to post in this group. Cheers 🥂

    Hello, Dan - @butterworthsylvan - and welcome!

If you feel like posting regularly about biking or other activity, there are some opportunities to do that. I'm sure there are others, but I know of a couple of threads in this Fitness and Exercise part of the Community where people share whatever workout-type activities they're doing, all types and levels welcomed. These are the ones I know about:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/331789/tlfc-exercise-and-accountability-support#latest
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10705619/what-was-your-work-out-today#latest

Don't be alarmed if you open those up and see old posts on page 1. Like all long-running threads here on MFP, the newest posts are at the end, on the high-numbered pages. You can jump straight there using the number/arrow buttons near the top/bottom of any page of the thread. Both of those are still quite active, usually with daily posts from multiple people.

There are also some steps/bike/activity (and other) challenges in this part of the Community:

There are so many different ones that I can't really suggest a specific one(s), but if you take a look around there you might find something that would be helpful for you to participate in. It's a good way to get/give support and encouragement. The word "challenges" may seem a little scary, but mostly they're just friendly chat threads in which people set goals and track how they're doing, cheering for each other along the way, not something gruelingly competitive.

I hope we see you around and participating with posts. Doing that has helped me keep my head in the game and accomplish some weight/health/fitness goals, so I encourage others to consider being active in the Community as well.

Best wishes for success, whatever your personal goals!
