Best Diet for Long Term

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹
I was wondering which diet I should follow and which one also works best for me.
There's so many.
I was thinking of a simple vegetarian diet.
But tbh I give in to meat and poultry a bit easily.
Anyways, does anyone have any diets they recommend or dislike (:

I think the Mediterranean style diet is recommended by the most health professionals.

I just eat a balanced diet that fits into my calorie allotment for the day. I find if I make certain foods taboo it just makes me want to have them. So far so good with maintenance... :)

The best diet is the one you will actually stick to - if you try to cut out all carbs or all meat and you like those things it will be hard to stick to long term. I try to eat mainly Whole Foods - one ingredient foods - meat and fruits and veggies - Greek yogurt - nuts mainly pistachios or almonds - and try and stay away from ultra processed crap - I do have some - like protein bars and some processed deli meat - I stick to this usually about 80% of the time and do say duck it some days and eat whatever and get back on track - just remember perfection is the enemy of progress don’t quit just because you get off track a day or two or even a week . Take the L and get back it the next day . Good luck

I've found the paleo the easiest to follow. But I'm a big meat fan so I guess what's easy for me won't suit others!
