Might I suggest that you might possibly enjoy one or both of these threads, where people chat on the daily about that sort of thing, and have for a long time now?

When you open those up, since you're new here, you'll see old posts. Don't worry, they're still active daily. The new posts are at the end, on the high-numbered pages. You can jump straight there with the number/arrow keys near the top or bottom of each page's list of posts. Join in!
If you want advice, there are various ways to get that. I see you asked for advice here, but I have no idea where to start, really. I've been pretty active for around 20 years, have done a variety of exercise-y things in that time, know a fair amount about some of them (less about others ), and even got some coaching certifications in one (on water rowing).
But I can't do a brain dump about all of that without wearing my typing fingers down to tiny nubs, not to mention boring the bejeepers out of you. If you need advice on specific points, please ask. Someone here will answer: Most people truly want to help.

Hi @AshleyHollisticHealer143 welcome to MFP!
My workouts today have included an hour with my personal trainer in the gym, followed by a mile and a half swim. I’ve also walked the dog several times, for maybe three or four miles, and spent a couple hours ironing and hanging what felt like acres of new curtains. (That was a workout itself!)
My best advice? Do something you enjoy. If you enjoy it, it’s not work, it’s not boring, and it’s not punishing.
Try something. If you don’t like it, try something else. Try until you find what you love, and chances are it will lead you to something else.
I love power yoga. I was tired of sitting in the sidelines watching other people do fun poses. I started weight training to build upper body strength so I could do them, too. Doggone if I didn’t discover I enjoyed weight training, too.
My husband asked me to do aquafit with him. I did it to encourage him. When I broke a toe and couldn’t do some things, including a lot of the jogging in place for aquafit, I thought well heck, swimming wouldn’t put pressure on my toe, so I started swimming. I was horrible so signed up for swimming classes. I’m still not so great at it, but I enjoy it, and I get to swim in the swim lane next to where he’s working out. I can make faces at him, he can shout his silly jokes at me, and we still get to ride to the gym together. Win/win/win all the way around!
Get out there and find your groove, as they say!
