Saturday I walked for the 29th time in the 49th Bellin Run 10K. Perfect weather: temp mid-50s at start & cloudy until I reached mile 5. I'm slowing down more (extra weight does not help) and finished in 1:45:25, with a pretty even split time. I placed 2990 overall out of 3271 in the 10K (there were 2373 that turned off to complete the 5K course). In my age division (65-69) I placed 45 out of 56, with an average pace of 16:58. While I may not be as speedy as I used to be, I am proud that I started, finished and was not last. While I cooled down in the park, I watched some of the last finishers of the 10K. A truly elderly man was nearing the finish. Later I looked up the race results by age group and learned that the oldest male was the only person in the 85 and over group. Wow! Four females were in the 80-84 group and two of them beat me by 5 and 7 minutes. Goals. I plan to walk for my 30th time in next year's 50th event.
Sunday was church, travel (3 hours total in car) with hubby and visiting Dad & Mom for Father's Day. Also there were sister & her hubby, eldest brother (bachelor) and youngest brother & his wife. Nice day spent visiting mostly outside. Love my family time.

- Cheerios with blueberries for breakfast / late lunch of BLTs (hubby loves his bacon duty) / light supper / limit snacks & sweets / 80 oz. water / log all food / net calories zero
- Walked dog 3.65 mi to beat heat but a bit humid already 😁 happy dog & happy me / OT exercises
- Wash dishes / prep envelope to mail tomorrow / register for Packers 5K / read / digital declutter / other?

WOTY 2025: Judicious ~ I just like the way the word sounds, and the meaning is right for me: having or showing reason and good judgement in making decisions. I can apply this word in so many ways!

Hour commitment - I won't eat again until after 5 pm. None of the same foods at dinner as at lunch. Can still have my dose of metamusal.

We got home from the horseshow later on Sunday than I hoped and yesterday was horseshow hangover day (but I still had to work) only to be wrapped up by starting to feel sick. (the horseshow went great by the way, had a really fun time and did better than I anticipated )
Today I am definitely sick. I am going to try to make it through the day at work but it might be working from the couch without getting too much accomplished. I did get a ton of stuff done with work yesterday but I don't want to get behind with our team being down one staff. (and my other teammate who is an expert at disappearing with no accountability) I really just want to crawl back in bed right now.

@cschmitz110515 I'm sorry about the loss of your SIL. It's never easy, even when we know it's coming, but at least your husband got to say everything he wanted to say. That helps some. Congratulations on the Bellin Run! That's awesome! I think your time was great…my time would probably be 45 minutes / mile. LOL
