Anyone reached their rock bottom?
I have & I'm struggling to find my way out of the hole I've dug myself into... I know, one day at a time but every day, the task seems mammoth & so hard!

Do or do not, there is no try.1

Honestly, it’s not even one day at a time, it’s one decision at a time. One little step. There are days when making sure I balance my plate and have a fruit or vegetable—just that—is a huge achievement. Don’t look at the hole you have to dig out of, focus on that next shovelful of dirt and you’ll get there in the end.4

Yep. Make one good decision. Then make another. The time will pass whether you make a change or not, so every little step in the direction of your goal is just that much closer. Break it into small goals. It's too overwhelming right now. Ignore the scale if you have to. Just start with small changes and try to stick to them one by one. They'll add up and hopefully become easier to keep doing. You're not alone.1

How about setting a micro goal? If you drink soda pop, cut down the frequency. Log your food at least 3 days this week, 4 next week, etc. That kind of thing, one at a time.
You know how to eat an elephant (or mammoth): One bite at a time.
If you're looking at a mountain, feeling overwhelmed, don't focus there. Like COGypsy said, focus on the shovelful of dirt: One today, two tomorrow, etc.
You'll get there.1 -
Been there, done that.
All I’d say is, three months, six months, 2025, all will pass quicker than you expect.
Would you rather be at least an eensy weensy bit improved, at the very least, or still be in the same hole six months from now?
Yeah, you may be like the frog in the well that slid back a foot for every two he climbed, but progress is progress, and I am living proof that when you finally see the sun coming in that hole, you’ll start climbing faster.
We are here if you need help, have questions. Everyone who has posted here has done the climb.0
