Why is my stomach expanding when it am trying?

I could never understand when eliminate binging that my stomach gets fatter!

Over which period of time? How regularly do you poop when you don't binge?2

Are you replacing binge foods with fruit and veg? Any change in your diet can lead to bloating, especially if you're adding a lot of fiber. It will then settle down, but you need to give it time.1

If binging is how you cope with life, there's probably something to that. Cortisol can cause water retention. I'm not sure how quickly cortisol builds up and causes that reaction, though.0 -
I'm skeptical of the cortisol causing the bloat, to be honest. Cortisol affecting weight is a thing, but I have never, ever heard of it causing notable bloating. I think you need to consider some of the other potential answers, including those put forward above, rather than putting it down to that.0

I've been on corticosteroids before, and let me tell you, yes, they can definitely cause noticeable bloating. However, the likelihood of someone naturally having that high of cortisol levels is probably extremely low. And if you do, you've got way bigger problems than bloating.0
