New here to this journey!

I am 58 and in perimenopause and trying to lose 50lbs to start. I get overwhelmed but really would like to learn patience and consistency!

take in information just a little bit at a time. One change, get used to it an then make another. This is my fourth go around and I have learned something new each time that made the going a little easier. I've started a group to be able to journal the journey and be able to support others should they wish. You can join the group or add me as a friend if you like.

    Hello, and welcome!

I think you can do it, and if your benefits are similar to mine, it will be seriously worth the effort. I lost around 50 pounds, class 1 to a healthy weight, at age 59-60. That was after around 30 previous years of overweight/obesity; I've been at a healthy weight for 8+ years since loss. I was in full menopause, though, not peri . . . not that I think that makes it harder, or easier. :)

I'm cheering for you to succeed: The quality of life gain can be substantial!
