Hello everyone. I'm 50. My goal is to lose weight get in shape and find a routine I can sustain long term. I have done other programs in the past that are just not serving me well anymore and I want a more realistic approach to things. Any tips ands suggestions would be appreciated

Hello
Age doesn't matter I'm 56 and maintaining.
My advice is don't overcomplicate it. Set a goal to lose 1 to 2lbs per week. Eat less and move more. Slow and steady is the key to success. If you go aggressive you will probably fail.
You can make this super complicated if you want but really it doesn't need to be.

Hey Allison,
For me, weighing food, learning portion sizes and finding food that was healthier that I didn't hate eating and making these changes for the rest of my life. Honestly losing weight isn't the hard part. It's keeping the change. If you would like support and a sounding board feel free to join my group.
