Hi I’m just starting out with the app as a supplement to intermittent fasting which has helped me no end in controlling my food intake, but felt I needed something more! This is really helping me see the value of what I’m eating - looking forward to this journey

    You need a calorie deficit to lose weight but what you eat definitely affects the way you feel. I find that focusing on Protein and fiber gives me the energy I need through out the day and I feel happier over all. I lost 42lbs counting calories by eating premade meals.(this was back in 2008) Now that I've got those pounds (and more) to lose again, eating better is definitely BETTER. :D
