Hi from Lincolnshire, UK

H i there, I am not new to My Fitness Pal but have never really engaged in the community side of it before. I wonder if this is where I've been going wrong? I've been dieting on and off for the last 20 years. Clearly I've been doing it wrong as I've gained 40kg and a problem with binge eating! In that time I have also raised 3 children, learnt to drive and become a qualified District Nurse. My youngest child is 17 and I'm starting to look to the future more and frankly I don't like what I'm seeing!
I'm fairly active, I enjoy walking and gardening but would definitely benefit from some strength training. Ultimately, my goals are to build a healthy relationship with food to get my weight and binge eating under control and to maintain a strong, healthy body well into my old age.
I'm hoping to find like minded people who will check in regularly to keep me accountable and motivated on my journey.
