Beginning my weight loss journey.

Good morning I am beginning my weight loss journey. I have been doing the intermittent fasting for about 8 weeks with a break for Christmas to New years.

So far I have lost about 13 pounds. My goal is to lose another 30 before summer.

I lost 50 pounds in 5 months 26 years ago and kept the weight off for 22 years but the last 4 years I put it back on.

I am an active bike rider, Pickleball player, golfers and curler. I just need to control my appetite.

    It sounds like you have the exercise part down. You just need to learn portion control. The good part is that you've done it before so you know how to do it again.

    Thanks yes that’s what I am hoping for. I now have lost a total of 18 lbs. Tracking what I eat regularly does really help. I am going on my first ever cruise and I really need make sure to try and keep the portions to a reasonable amount. Hopefully maintaining my weight during the cruise!

    Congrats on the 18lbs! Tracking what you are eating now will definitely help you to be able to judge portion control on your cruise. But prioritize fun. You can control your eating tightly at home. You will already know how to lose that pound or two when you get back. You'll have to let us know about the exciting places you will get to see when you get back.
