Have MFP do the calculations from serving size to what amount you use

This, imho, is where MFP fails epically. The user must calculate the amount take to coincide with the serving size that is labeled on the product. I am more than willing to put that data in, but what I want is when I serve my portion, I put in the amount I serve. For example, serving size of Thai's unsweetened coconut milk is 0.33 cups. But I use say 1 tablespoon or 0.25 cup. I do not want to figure out what a quarter of a 0.33cup is. Or in a recipe that I make, I can put in the amounts I use to make it and how many cups it makes. But the serving size is not standard. MFP can figure it out since I have input all of the nutritional values they need. For example, I make a ginger carrot soup - onion, roasted carrots, chicken broth and salt. Depending upon how many carrots and how much chicken broth I use gives me a certain final amount. I have no idea what a serving size is. But I do know that I will serve myself 1.5 cups of it. This additional computation by MFP would be a game changer.

Because recipes list ingredients with various types of measurements (weight, volume, and so on) there is no way for the recipe editor to calculate how many servings of a particular size will result when the various items are combined.

If you're not sure how many servings a recipe will produce, enter a best-guess number when you first create the recipe.

After the recipe is prepared, you can manually measure the number of servings that have been produced. Then, the recipe can be edited and the correct number of servings can be entered.

Another thing you can do is put in the actual serving amount in the title of the recipe to then remember how much each serving weighs.
