Looking for friends to add and share progress on my weight loss journey! Last year I tracked my caloric intake diligently, aiming for 1,500-1,800 calories/day with no change in activity level.
Well, that year I maintained my weight but didn’t lose anything. I want sustainable lifestyle changes so this year, I’ve dropped my intake to 1,200 calories per day and dancing 3 days/week. I’m FINALLY seeing the scale under 230 lbs and it’s feeling REALLY good, like I finally cracked the code. I’m a 39 yo female with a vision of dropping weight to 180.
My BMR calculator shows a drastically different BMR than what I’ve tested last year, so the 1,200 calorie goal is hard, but it’s getting easier and I don’t sweat the days I overeat because they are an anomaly now and I know I’ll make up for it. In reality though, I’m seeing that if I ate more than my goal, I just do a 30 minute boxing video or something.
On a similar path? Let’s be friends and share progress and wins!
