Completely New to this

Hello this is my first time ever using this app. I've been struggling with overeating a lot and it wasn't catching up with me. I've been lucky to have a fast metabolism but recently I've just been out of control with eating. Its hard to explain but I just cant stop eating. I litteraly stop once no more food can enter. I dont want to lose a LOT of weight because I've had issues with that in the past. I just want to lose a few pounda and eat with a better mindset. I also plan to do a few exercjses kn my room since I dont have time to go outside. Im just worried about not being able to control myself when trying to limit my food. Is there any tips to this?

Hello Carmen. The key to success will be to learn a new relationship with food. When eating healthier, you can actually still eat a high volume of food. The key is learning what a portion of a particular food is and sticking to that. I do meal prep. Today I cooked stuffed peppers and a tuna casserole. The stuffed peppers made 12 servings and the tuna casserole made 8. I separated them out and put them away before sitting down to eat. I had stuffed peppers for lunch along with lettuce, cucumbers and zucchini. It took me 45 minutes to eat. Since I already have the casserole set out in portions, I'm only bringing that portion to the table.

I'm not sure what your issue is but I can sympathize. I rarely feel hunger so I don't actually feel satisfied by eating beyond the pleasure of tasting the food. So I constantly overate. With setting out portions and putting away the food before I eat, I am done when the food on my plate is gone. Hopefully this will help.
