My name is Angela

My thing is what keeps my weight going up and down as I am a CHF patient and the thing is I’m diabetic also plus I’m disabled so it makes it kinda hard. Sometimes I just get up and go to the gym therapy and eating healthier it gets challenging sometimes because I have moments, of course, and I have binge eat a lot. I try to stop, but it seem like it’s getting harder on her. I pray to God every day. I’m just trying to figure out. What am I doing wrong is there anyone out there to talk to?

    hello Angela.

Start simple. Make small changes, get used to it and then make another change. I am also disabled and diabetic. It is possible to lose weight without strenuous exercise. You just have to be willing to work at finding something you can do. Figure out why you binge and ways to cope without binging.

There are plenty of people here who will be happy to talk to you, though you might also want to try a therapist to figure out a way to cope with stress.

When you joined mfp it asked you what your stats were: age, weight, activity level and how much weight you would like to lose per week. That will give you a calorie goal. think of that as money you can spend however you like. of course some food gives you more bang for the buck and your heath issues makes some choices wiser than others.

since you are already stressed, I would suggest simple small changes. since you are diabetic it's easy to avoid buying items with added sugar and comparing different brands of the same item to purchase the lower sugar item. For example spaghetti sauce. I know the great value brand has less sugar than prego and ragu and to me the difference in taste isn't noticeable.

You don't have to learn everything at once.
