Im 59, got diagnosed a month ago when I put up a whopping 12.8 on my blood test. Since then massive changes to my eating as that was my problem area, I never miss the gym but made horrible food choices. In a month I dropped 16 lbs and got my reading down to the low 6's, will drop it more. Also taking omega 3s, vitamin d, probiotic, berberine, child aspirin, turmeric, and for med metformin. hope this is visible

12.8 on what test? A1C, or something else? I'm inferring something like that from the rest of your post, but it's a guess. Your post is visible, your diary is visible . . . is there some specific question(s) you have? Or is this just an introduction?0

OK. Looks like you're working hard on your goals: Good show! I hope your test results will drop further, as seems to be your direction.1 -

Gotcha, thanks. I was assuming something like that, blood sugar oriented, given your overall post suggesting diabetes or a precursor might be in the picture. Bringing it down to low 6s is already a good accomplishment - I hope you continue to see success on that front. I can see you're working hard at it!1
