Welcome to mfp Barry. The key to success if creating a life style that you can maintain. Make little changes to see if they work for you. Learn more, make more changes. It's a process. A fun science experiment... if you make it fun
As you read the forums you will see that different methods work for different people. You can judge for yourself if something will work for you.

I just restarted today after a couple of years. I have a Fitbit account but my phone died so I am planning on running both. good luck.0
