Hey everyone, so lovely to meet you.
I'm Sarah, nearly 52 and due to significant back problems (for which i'm soon having spinal fusion surgery) I find it a real struggle to lose weight due to limited mobility.
I would love to have buddies for this journey to offer support and have support back.

I also have limited mobility. I can assure you it is possible to lose weight without exercise (though you should do what you can to keep the movement you have). We just have to be more conscious of our caloric intake. I eat very well with 1200 to 1300 calories a day on average. You just have to find what works for you. You can do this. And good luck with your surgery.

Hi Sarah! I have some mobility issues myself, am 53 and trying to lose 15-20 lbs. I'm new to adding buddies and how that works, so forgive me if I mess up along the way.

I have spondylolisthesis and some foraminal stenosis. I have to be really careful when I exercise. Stopped running, stopped lifting heavy. But I’ve been able to become active again in different ways — walking, stationary bike, functional strength training some with dumbbells. I have on and off chronic hip pain / low back from it all. Has always been a bit of an issue but became a PROBLEM about five years ago.
