    Wont

@neekepoo , what can I say to convince you to stick around a bit and see for yourself?

Which 7 fruits made the cut for you, @nossmf ?

Let's see, we had apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, peaches, pears, cantaloupe and water melon…hmm, which one did I forget when I called it "7-fruit" instead of "8-fruit?"

And where did this rash of response come from? Two full pages to read through in one night, when we've been average 4-5 responses per day for weeks now?

Will you accept two three questions from me?

Let's see, we had apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, peaches, pears, cantaloupe and water melon…hmm, which one did I forget when I called it "7-fruit" instead of "8-fruit?"

    1. Is that first run-on thought really a grammatical question?

And where did this rash of response come from?

    2. See what happens when one of your "members" has insomnia?

👀 Is @cmsienk calling out @nossmf ? Do you think he’ll see it within the required 1 hour window to make a change?

Although I do see this within that magic hour, I refuse to amend anything, because I consider my "run-on thought train" to be equally valid a question as the too-prevalent "do you know" formats which completely defeat the intent of this thread, which is to respond to a question using another question, not simply to post unrelated facts in the form of a Jeopardy question…or am I alone in thinking this way?

Are you surprised to discover that we disagree on one important distinction here?

Is there any mention in the title of this thread -"Can you keep it going AGAIN asking ONLY QUESTIONS?" - that the subsequent question MUST directly respond to the previous question?

Will you concede that, "Do you know that I disagree with you?" is a valid, grammatical question, while "Let's see, we had apples…" is the beginning of a statement?

Questions of grammatical technicalities aside, why the sudden resistance to the nature of my response? Have I not posted multiple similarly-phrased responses in the past which did not provoke you in this fashion?

Haven't you ever seen a post from me pointing out other statement-questions? Did those slip past you?

Didn't that one strike me as more egregious than some others?

if we make it too prescriptive do we not put people off posting (me included) ?

after all isnt it just a fun thread?

I thought it a philosophical thread with the expectation that we ponder aimlessly!:D

can anyone actually define anything on this thread? Isn’t a definition a statement of sorts?

Isn’t a clear definition useful sometimes?

we’ll now, isn’t that the epitome of pondering? Wouldn’t a sentence, that starts as a statement but rambles off into self questioning, be a philosophical morph? Would anyone agree that, when one ponders, grammatical rules become obsolete, and that self reflection lends itself to run on rambling? HA, am I being to philosophical in my thinking?

wouldn’t a clear definition, albeit useful sometimes, be a moot point on a philosophical, questions only thread?

Would you be pleased to hear I agree and am having difficulty following all of the hypothetical questions and scenarios?

Would it be ok to address something different and far more important?
Why do the majority of my posts NOT automatically capitalize the first letter? Is it clear that I am hyper-focused on this? And wouldn’t you know that this particular post DID automatically capitalize the first letter?

Is it possible to open a ticket? Could it be a phone setting? Would you believe that I tested it with all three of these sentences?

isn’t it odd that it is only the first sentence in my post that doesn’t capitalize the first letter? Is it weird that I wouldn’t open a ticket simply because I think the anomaly makes me appear quirky? Won’t you be checking each one of my posts now just to see if the first letter is capitalized?
