Are you testing my observation skills? Do you know how much I dread it when I come home from work and my wife asks, "Do you notice what's different?"

Would you like a hint about the hotel room I checked into about an hour ago 👆(before I moved to a different room)?

Is it because your reflection is not appearing in the mirror? Are you a vampire??? 🧛🏻‍♀️

Shouldn't there be some furniture in that room? A desk or dresser perhaps?

Aren't I mystified as to why people are allergic to cats and/or dogs?
And does this allergy extend to all furry animals, like possums, squirrels, horses, wildebeests,…?

    Has that room been burgled?

In my husbands case, aren't horses fine? but as he is yet to get close to a wildebeast or visit a home where somebody keeps one indoors - how would he know if he is allergic to them?

@srazamora, are you bored with the cat/dog allergy questions?

How would I know? Did you remember I don’t work there anymore? Have tax brackets changed? Could it be less taxes? Not a true raise?

Should I keep my thoughts to myself about taxes since I musn't get political? 🤪

BTW, Do guinea pigs have dander? If not, why would my pet allergies be the worst ever when visiting a home with guinea pigs!?

Isn't it likely that your pension plan, like mine, includes a COLA (cost-of-live-adjustment) based on CPI (Consumer Price Index)? Isn't it the same for those of us on Social Security which will receive a 2.5% COLA in 2025?

P.S. Isn't it just grand being retired? 😂

Considering the balance of my retirement account compared to my age, shall I make plans to retire approximately ten years after I die?

Will you not receive dividends from your investments in your children? 😂
(Would that be analogous to a reverse mortgage?) 🤔

Weren't my children in a position to help when I retired? And haven't things changed!?!

Isn't the flooding in Oklahoma bad? Not the news in all the papers bad. Just pain in the —-

Bad. But isn't that bad enough?

Can we please talk about less depressing things than taxes, having to work 10 years past death to afford retirement, and the horrible devastation left behind by flooding? 🥺

Do you want to weigh in on the lack of furniture in my hotel room?

Do you think the last inhabitants had one big blowout? Or blowup? Maybe they got cold and needed firewood?

Are there any great hotel rooms that are less than $150.00?

I've heard of Motel 6 and Super 8, but doesn't your room suggest a name like Motel 1 or 2?
Aren't you glad the bed isn't just a mattress on the floor?

My first apartment after graduation had a futon couch/bed and a milk crate to hold the TV, that was all the furniture in the place…aren't memories grand?

memories are grand yes because they show you where you have been. Without memories isn’t life meaningless?

Can I take a guess that thanks to nostalgia, you have very fond memories despite your lack of material things during that time, @nossmf ?
