Looking for others who are in the same situation

Hi, my name is Alex

Hi, my name is Alex and I live in England. I’ve been watching my weight since July and, I joined MFP in September. It’s been really helpful. My target was 10st (140lbs) by Christmas and I made it today! I don’t think I will achieve my size 12 target. I am a comfortable size 14 but my bust refuses to go down much. My hips are probably a 10. I guess that I am a weird shape and not a typical female figure. My next target is 136 lbs by Valentine’s Day. After that I will to go onto a maintenance diet. I am finding the daily calorie target relatively easy but at the expense of protein. All the high protein/low carb recipes I have found are frankly unappealing. Christmas is going to be a challenge. The other thing is that my weight goes up around my menstrual cycle. I could do with some thoughts from others with a ‘weird’ shape. How do I lose weight on top? I am exercising more than I was (indoor bike).

Well, I made my goal of 62 kgs (140lbs) by Christmas, Had a bad dose of Gastro Enteritis over it and lost several kgs. Dinner with BFs parents was a train crash. Spent New Year’s Eve on my own and felt better for it. I am now back on course. I have maintained my target and want to stay that way. I like my new figure and feel better for it. Anyone out there who is on the same page? I want to maintain my present weight.

Congrats on your weight loss 140lbs is amazing. It's incredible that you have met your goal! There are many here who use mfp to maintain their weight loss. I am not one of them yet but I have one in my community.

There is also a forum here for maintaining weight. I would link it but apparently it's bugged for me. I don't see any posts directly even though I was able to get into a post from a couple days ago in a round about way. You should be able to find it under categories.
