Desperate for support

hi guys

I have been trying to lose weight on and off like I am sure most people have. I get there too- maybe not like 100% to weight goal but a close 60% if not more and then I lose momentum really bad usually cause of a incident which takes me back to “why bother” phase. I can’t do this alone. I need strong friends around who can relate and help keep me accountable. I just restarted- only walking 10-15 mins a day.

Managed to get myself from 89kg to a whopping 125Kg so moving right now whilst having a desk job seems unrealistic so have small goals and taking one day at a time. One positive step, one good thing. If you can help support a desperate individual giving life a final go to get where I know I can, please connect

Same here! No stress this time, just making a conscience effort to make better choices with my food and activity. I work a desk job as well so I am currently just walking for 30-45m of my lunch break. Hoping to start walking in the evenings as well when the weather improves. Cold and rain here ☔

Losing weight is more about changing how you are eating rather than exercise. Exercise is important, but your diet (the way you eat, not what you are on) is far more important. I am disabled so my ability to exercise is limited. i'm currently tapping my feet as I type. Just try to figure out what is going to work in your life. I'm sure you will find something.

thank you @totameafox appreciate the feedback and yes it’s true what we eat and our relationship with food is important. Hoping I can be just kind to myself in this journey

While I'm not a super big fan of meal prepped foods, the ONE THING I do like about them is the portion control with some of them not giving up too many calories per meal.

I would encourage you to get on a plan for at least a couple of months to get used to eating just the portions sizes and food they offer. There are many out there and if you choose one where eat meal is about 500 calories, that's a good start.

@ninerbuff thanks for the note and yes I did use something like that in the past and it seemed to work well. Will check out the latest offerings in market :)
