Bed or low impact exercises where to start?

I have one thigh that is numb and painful to touch. Yes I got pt for it and the docs are stumped as to cause. I am hoping losing weight will help it. I have no equipment and can not get on the floor. The app exercises just confuse me. I am used to pt terms. Have foot condition that make walking longer than 5-10 mins very hard. So doc said to do bed exercises and low impact stuff. I do my pt exercises daily but they are easy and feel like a warmup now. I want imput on where to start.

There are bed exercise and chair exercise videos on YouTube. Some of them will be labeled "for seniors", but they can be suitable for anyone with mobility limitations such as what you're describing. You can find those by doing a web search or a search directly on YouTube for "bed exercises" or "seated exercises" or "chair exercises".
Some chair exercise videos will include standing exercises where the chair is used for support or balance. If that doesn't work for you, you could either skip those particular exercises in a video, or look for videos without them.
There are some videos for wheelchair users which I assume wouldn't include the standing exercises, and those could be useful videos even if not in a wheelchair. The wheelchair exercises videos range from quite mild exercise to rather vigorous exercise aimed at wheelchair athletes, but that difference will usually be obvious in the title or text description of the video.

what kind of doctors have you been talking to? Hopefully not just a GP. It sounds like a nerve issue and for those kind of things. It’s good to work with a neurosurgeon. You may need to get an MRI, working through these things with PT may not be the best route, in fact without proper diagnosis PT can exacerbate the problem.
I’m not a doctor. Ive just been through this before

I love Tim Gunn.. do you know he exercises in bed? I forget exactly what he does. but he is so vital. That gave me the idea of .. "why the heck not!" I find now I can do exercises on my bed that don't hurt my bony parts ..hips.. joints..
I also use a upholstered bench at the end of my bed to use my thigh master ( Susan Sommers. rip).. then one day.. I thought?? why not use it to do my laying sideways leg lifts .. and it worked great.
Don't get me wrong.. I also like getting up and down off the floor.. simply because that is a sign of fitness and projected longevity. But, when you're out of shape…why not . So.. I do it all.. depending on what's going in my life.

The good news is you can lose weight without exercise, if you can get into a calorie deficit. You can add exercise later if some of your symptoms improve. The other advice here is also helpful though.
