Losing weight for health

I am starting over and this time I'm putting my all into lt I have type 2 diabetes and thyroid issues and kidney disease . I'm a stress eater and I'm sick of it , I've been putting myself on the back burner for years and now it's my time . I'm excited to say though I started over a week and a half ago and I have lost 10lbs cutting out certain foods and doing a calorie deficit of 1300 . I eat more protein less carbs and I'm working on better sleep im Getting out more walking and keeping busy. I have to say looking up calories of what I was eating before was crazy I didn't realize howany calories and carbs I was eating . No wonder I was so sluggish and tired . Is there any recipes you find helpful that helped you lose weight ?
