Can MFP be used to follow the My Plate

Yes, the myplate helps figure out types of choices.
MFP tracking helps figure out actual quantity and how everything adds up together.
- Plus creates a food log.
- Snap a picture of the plate after you dish up - you should be able to deconstruct the foods you chose to look similar to the myplate.
I tend to enjoy soups, salads and (bento-type) bowls... so, when altogether, it looks like a mixed up dinner salad or large soup bowl, but what I chose to add, looks like the myplate.
Selected ingredients/myplate servings... entered into MFP food tracker, quantities adjusted, food combined into salad, then enjoyed.
Food log later given to docs nutritionist who referred me here for logging.
