Hi , I've spent most of my adult life 25+yrs on 1 and many more diets/weightloss plans and although I lost initially I've never stuck to it and then I found it ,I took 18months watching gathering facts and speaking to people and took the plunge ,I started 10weeks ago and have now lost 26.5ib and finally my brain is not constantly focused on food ,no side effects as long as I keep hydrated ,focus on protein and keep my carbs low ,i.e bread, potato and white pasta .

Any fellow jabbers out there how are you doing ?

Hi there! I think that's great! I'm on Ozempic for Type 2 diabetes but lost about 25 pounds but have since plateaued. But I loved it while I was losing! Apparently after being on it for about 2 years you can start to plateau and then start to gain, which I have done. I've gained about 16 pounds since I came back to my old job and the hunger is back in aces. Now the real work begins. I think my lowest weight was probably a little too low for me so I'm going to take this 5 pounds at a time and try to lose at least 5-10 of the weight I gained and try not to gain more in the process.

Unfortunately, I had a work accident last week and broke one of my toes so running is out of the question for the next 4-6 weeks. Ugh! I wish MFP had some way of taking an injury into account for why you aren't exercising. LOL

Modern medicine doesn't find Mounjaro controversial. Nobel prizes all around.

I'm very happy to hear you are making progress. I wish you continued good success.

Today in big financial news a prominent analyst downgraded their rating on McDonald's citing much lower consumer demand as a result of GLP-1 availability. It's both remarkable and disturbing news…a win for future non-consumers.
