Weight loss caused by depression

I know a lot of people gain weight because of depression, but I was wondering if anyone else on here ended up losing weight because of it? I know it caused me to lose weight because I didn't have the motivation to get out of bed, much less to cook or eat, and I'm just curious as to if anyone else had a similar experience.

Yep. Same reasons.

Getting dumped has always preceded a nice weight drop.

Yes, to a very unhealthy extent. I'd be back in that position with terrible anxiety and panic attacks if I went off my medication.
I'm not even tempted, I'm in such a better place mentally.

I had the same experience. I lost 30 pounds when I had a major depression. I couldn’t keep food down.
