Weight loss

Hey! I was wondering to know what was the most effective way for you guys to lose weight? From a specific type of exercise to a detailed tip?
Also, would you think exercise is more effective in losing weight or diet?

Food intake.
You can't out-exercise your fork.
As far as effective exercise? Something you like that you will do consistently.

Most effective way to lose weight? Eat fewer calories than we burn. That's the only way, actually. Counting the calories makes doing that more predictable, but the counting itself isn't strictly necessary.
There's more to it than that, though, because we need something we can stick with long enough to accomplish our goals. "Long enough" is forever, if we want to stay at a good weight after we reach it, too.
Any eating style can work, and any eating schedule. Figure out what keeps you personally full and happy more of the time at adequate calories and ideally decent overall nutrition.
That's individual, though most people feel more full more of the time eating mostly lean meat, fish/ seafood, veggies, fruits, whole grains and that sort of thing rather than refined or highly processed foods.
Exercise is good for a body, worth doing for many reasons, but not essential for weight loss. Doing some lets us eat more while losing at the same sensible rate, pretty much.
Any exercise we enjoy, so willingly do routinely, is 100% more effective for both weight loss and fitness than a theoretically ideal exercise we hate so procrastinate or skip at the slightest excuse, maybe give up doing altogether. Fun exercise is best, but it better be at least tolerable and convenient.
What exercise that will be is individual, too. Try things.
IMO, cookie cutter methods are less likely to work, because they're not personalized to our individual preferences, strengths, challenges and lifestyles. There's no one magical or even universally best method. Therefore, experiment, find the tactics that work for YOU.
Some experiments won't work out, but that's OK. It's not a failure, it's a learning opportunity. Cross that thing off the list, try something else. As long as you keep working at it, you'll eventually succeed.
Best wishes!
