My fitness pal and Mounjaro

I’ve been on Mounjaro for 7 weeks. I’ve lost 16lbs. It is an aid, just like My Fitness Pal is. I’ve learnt that I have to still track calories, prioritise protein and absolutely ensure I am eating a balanced diet. Yes it reduces hunger but it doesn’t eliminate it (if it is working well). Yes it does help with you feeling fuller after less food but I’m using this to really learn portion control. I want Mounjaro to help me to readjust my relationship with food. So far so good another 50lbs to go.
Just wanted to say it’s not magic it’s an aid to help and if you don’t learn to change when you come off it it’s likely all the weight will come back on.
anyone out there on this journey?
Please no anti glp1 comments-I was very sceptical of glp1 but having researched and experienced it I’ve learned a lot!

GLP1 was suggested to me, have yet to start. Have success with diet when I stay home it is when I am away I fall off a plan.

hi, I am 😊 started in November and have lost 40lb now. It’s given me my life back tbh. I am able to do so much more and feel much healthier, good luck with your journey 😊

Hi, I am on week 4 and have lost 1 stone. I'm like yourself. Using it along with relearning control and portion sizes. Still feeling hungry (although not as much) but I prefer that so that when I stop using it then it wont be as much of a shock to the system. Good luck on your journey.

Best wishes to all on this journey! I just started taking Mounjaro this week, after 4 weeks and a 3 week break from taking Wegovy, to which I did not respond at all. Hoping results will be different this round. Have already noticed a reduction of so called food noise and have a goal to be much more aware of what I eat and how much I move.
