Calories

If I consistently stay under the calories I’m allotted on My fitness pal, will I lose weight to meet my goal? Right now I’m starting off at 1,860 cals per day.

You don't give us any info to actually help you. Can you provide gender, your current stats and goal? If you've set MFP for weightloss then the calories you're given is your calorie goal. Thus you should be eating this, and lose at the rate you've chosen.
Faster weightloss is usually not a good idea as faster weightloss also means more loss of muscle mass, too little energy, the risk of giving up is bigger.1 -
Probably.
.However the calculations are not exactly right for everyone. people do vary - usual advice is to tightly stick to that amount for a month - and then adjust up or down depending on results.
Assuming you have entered your stats correctly, the number should be i n the general ball park though.
