I cannot believe it's already round 304! I joined this group back in Round 69 and have been relatively steady with it since and I'm so thankful to have found this incredible group. Yet again, I'm here and ready to see more progress and more improvement - not just in the scale, but in life and how I learn to love myself through every phase or season.
7/30- 166.4 - Well then, not what I was expecting! I'll take it. I met Coach's macro goals for the day and got all my activities done (workout, walked dogs, 8-10k steps, 100-120oz water). I'm feeling okay with this, my body is not reacting as harshly to the sudden increase as I expected. This is likely due to my typical higher calorie weekends I've been having. I'm hoping coaching will help me get back to mindful eating on weekends, even when my options aren't ideal.8 -

💥💥💥 07/30-186.2 ❌ - (Trend Weight: 188.0) I gained 0.8 gained overnight. 1.2 gained in 48 hours. And all of it just normal fluctuations as I’ve followed plan and exercised too. Yesterday I ate 1196 calories and 77 carbs, both lower than goal. Water consumption has been iffy but finally got 6 full hours of sleep last night and it was heavenly! No TMI today so that is probably a contributing factor to the gain. I’m traveling today so lunch will be in the city. That is always a set-back. We’ll see how I feel about weighing tomorrow. I don’t need to jump into the fire to know that it’s hot! Good luck this round everyone. It’s ours for the taking!

7/30 203.6 Today went by so fast. I did get my walk after dinner and it was super humid. I convinced my husband to walk with me tonight. I have to start cleaning the house and getting backed to go to the mountains next week. Going to go chase some waterfalls. 🏞️

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 304 (my 234th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- an additional goal for me this round is to have a totally 10 day binge free round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.
Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

7/31 181.2 I really flexed the will power muscle yesterday. I kept my food choices in check and crushed two workouts. I felt super engaged. Of course I’d love to see a magical overnight drop but that is not how it happens.
Frustrated over my higher number and I’m not feeling that spark of motivation to go hard. I am hearing an inner voice that is pushing me to make better choices even if I’m not feeling that super magic.
It’s a good lesson for me. I know seeing some positive results will amp me up. To get those results I need to do the work when it’s hard not wait until it feels easy.
Fingers crossed and best foot forward on making this round a turning point.

This will be a short lived scale reading. Too much of a drop for one day. My calories were low yesterday but they included 500 calories worth Kirkland Super Extra-Large Peanuts. I love those things.Regarding this group, I like how it is more than just us weight-tracking for ten days. We all have a somewhat unique quirk we are working on. The quirks are a combination of weight, strength, BF%, mobility, alcohol, macros, logging, exercise, breaking habits. I am learning from you all.

Rnd 303 Ending Weight: 143.37/30: 142.9. It seems like my weight is actually starting to come down, after far too long being stuck around 144-145. I'm very excited about that.
Food was decent yesterday, although I didn't track again. I went for a walk, but took a rest day from running.
I've been toying with the idea of running a half marathon for a while, and I finally made the plunge and signed up for one at the end of October. I would really like to be a lot closer to my goal weight by then, so it's time to really get serious. I have just under 90 days, so plenty of time to lose a few pounds.

Finally my body is responding to all the efforts I am making. Feeling better after having so many body aches due to eating too much salt, sugar, flour.
Sounds weird but I wrote a letter to my body. I apologized for not taking care of it because I had been distracted and stressed. I told it how much I appreciate it and how I plan and promise to give it lots of healthy water, veggies and movement. It felt nice. Healing.7 -

7/30 296.1 nice to start with a drop, it's just a nice pick-me-up! But, us daily weighers know we had best not set whether a day is good or not by if there's a drop, or we'll drive ourselves crazy!
7/31 295.6 had a bit of a tough day and came home to a nice home cooked meal by my husband. It did include cookies at the end so I over-indulged on that meal but I'd left a lot of calories for the evening. Today is another day to keep working on things.

7/30- 166.4 - Well7/31- 166.2 - I swear I've been hitting my increased macros! I'm wondering if the scale isn't jumping as expected is because my weekends have often been at maintenance or bulking nearly every weekend and therefore it isn't as much of a shock as I expected it to be. Oops. That's good information to have in about 4 1/2 weeks when my coaching program ends. I'm a bit nervous for tonight as Fam wants to meet up after Goddaughter's cheer practice to say by and spend one last evening with Stepson before he leaves for the school year. Stepson hasn't decided on a place he'd like to eat so I can't pre-plan very well. Eek! I know I managed this last year with coaching so I can do it again but I've most certainly fallen into some bad habits I need to break.4 -

Many times I often put myself last because I want to be considerate of others… Why is it that we choose to put our very own bodies on the back burner? And don’t keep our promises to ourselves? When I choose to blow-off my priorities, I would never do that to a dear friend, a loved one, or business associate… Time to improve my “self”-integrity. My body deserves the very best from me.

A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, female, 160cm (5ft 2.5in) tall. I have a 2yo son who is so full of energy and keeps me eternally busy! I generally keep fit doing judo and walking my very mad spaniel. I have Crohn's disease and am currently flaring which mean I'm struggling with fatigue and nausea. I weigh wearing clothes so my actual weight fluctuates a lot, but I'm more concerned about trend.

SW MFP Jan 1, 2023 – 146.6GW Maintaining between 124 – 126 SW: 127.6 Since my weight is slowing coming back down, I’ve added back in history details INCLUDING my maintenance numbers. In January, it seemed silly including my goal was to maintain 124 – 126 when I was weighing 138. Those maintenance numbers are in sight now. Just need to get there.

7/31 – 129.4 Yesterday was spot on. It is now 4 PM on the 31st, and all is well. Will I make it through the whole day. I am somewhat irritated with myself as I have been repeatedly sabotaging myself as I get closer to the wedding. I need to knock it off!!!!

07/30-186.2 ❌ - (Trend Weight: 188.0) I gained 0.8 gained overnight. 1.2 gained in 48 hours. And all of it just normal fluctuations as I’ve followed plan and exercised too. Yesterday I ate 1196 calories and 77 carbs, both lower than goal. Water consumption has been iffy but finally got 6 full hours of sleep last night and it was heavenly! No TMI today so that is probably a contributing factor to the gain. I’m traveling today so lunch will be in the city. That is always a set-back. We’ll see how I feel about weighing tomorrow. I don’t need to jump into the fire to know that it’s hot! Good luck this round everyone. It’s ours for the taking!
💥💥💥07/31 – 188.8 ❌ (Trend Weight – 188.1) And THIS is why I like my magic 7. I’m very disappointed in this but I know I didn’t eat 10,000 calories yesterday, which is what it would take for this to be real fat gain, so I’ll be okay. I will spend the next couple of days getting this back to normal, whatever normal is, of course but I know it involves a 7 or less.

7/30 203.6 Today went by so fast. I did get my walk after dinner and it was super humid. I convinced my husband to walk with me tonight. I have to start cleaning the house and getting backed to go to the mountains next week. Going to go chase some waterfalls. 🌄
7/31 202.5 Today I was gone all day so I didn’t have the chance to go for a walk for work out. Its amazing how you miss it when you don’t go, plus I was so tired all day. I did my hair highlighted and blown out and it was so relaxing. I almost fell asleep on her. 💆♀️

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 304 (my 234th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- an additional goal for me this round is to have a totally 10 day binge free round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.
Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available.This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

8/1 141.8 (TREND 142.2) No structured walking. Later this afternoon we travel down to Oxford for the British Transplant Games; DGS (& his brother as they include siblings) will be taking part in some events, DH & myself are volunteering. The games take part over the same weekend every year & it is always a most poignant time for us because it is exactly 5 years today that little Leo received his very precious gift of a new liver that saved his 6 month old life – some of you may remember that extremely anxious time as he very bravely fought. As a family we continually to be ever thankful to the donor & their family & really hope that they take some comfort from the thought that a part of their loved one still lives on 5 years after their loss.

This was 18 days after his operation and his first full day at home with his older brother who took great delight in helping, I watch the video again this morning & it made me cry all over again.
This was him last night at the Games opening ceremony, such a character, in full time school, he still has health issues & will have all his life, but his happy & fully embraces life.
Please, if you have ever had doubts about giving the gift of life by donating an organ after your death, really think seriously about it, have the discussion with your families & consider signing up and carrying a donor card. I can't thank the donor and famiy enough that we have our little Leo here today giving us so much joy.
