Great running and so pretty @ContraryMaryMary .

    Thanks @tarun_yadavA . Nice run.

@WarmJellyfish Nice running. I had to look up moozie…not a term I've ever heard before. I would feed them too…they seem to love me.

Thanks @Scott6255 . I hope those shoes work out for you.

@CMorning99 I hope you continue to feel well and the fire stays away and they get it under control soon.

    Thanks @chris_in_cal and @SummerSkier .

I do hope you feel better tomorrow @yirara .

Thanks @Mari33a . Bike riding is great exercise too.

Thanks @John772016 . Good idea to take it easy with the poor air quality. I'm glad it was a little better in the ravine.

    Sounds like a good plan @micukica .

Very pretty @ContraryMaryMary . I hope Ms 11 feels a lot better tomorrow.

@quilteryoyo I messaged Honu Nui, and they are fine. They have a trip planned early next year to go to the Galapagos! Told her I may plan a trip her way after graduation.

I have been busy in all my free time getting ready for Vacation Bible School at my church for next week. I am doing the decorations. I also fully relaxed Saturday and Sunday and embraced the first long weekend here since May.

I am determined to get out on my lunch break today.

@swenson19d That's great to hear. I am jealous of her trip to the Galapagos.

Thanks @kgirlhart . Nice runs. Glad the dog was nice and lost interest quickly.

Great run @tarun_yadavA . Mom got her card from you today. She said, "Is it from England?" "Oh, wow!" Thank you so much. It was really nice.

    Welcome @username301 .

    I'm pulling for you @angf0679 .

@Scott6255 Great run, esp in those sticky conditions. Glad the shoes felt good.

Thanks @CMorning99 . Four minutes is a start. Keep it up!

Yesterday monday was supposed to be a recovery day. So I threw on a 25lb ruck and a walkin' we will go. Sheesh, I need to do this more often, especially if I want to go fastpacking. Spending too much time looking in one direction only 🙄

    Great shoes @Scott6255!
Pretty pics @ContraryMaryMary & nice run, sounds like my perfect weather.
Great birthday run @quilteryoyo!, looks like a beautiful spot to run it as well!
    Nice runs @chris_in_cal, @kgirlhart, @tarun_yadavA, @Scott6255, @CMorning99, @Mari33a!
Pretty sure my 'recovery day' isn't a 25lb pack @WarmJellyfish!😀

    Welcome @username301!

"…I completed once 50km, twice marathon , and several times HM, and many trainings 10 miles, 10km...",
pretty sure I should be asking you for advice @micukica! 👏 I'm sure you'll do fine! The muscles will eventually remember, the brain may try to kill you, but push on!

Thanks @CMorning99, unfortunately the smoke seems to be blowing right towards us this time, and then on to the US apparently. I can only imagine how bad it is for the folks out west having to deal with the fires.

It is odd though, yesterday we were among the worst in the world for air quality & I was able to run outside, mostly comfortably. I'm assuming the smoke was staying at higher levels.
Today, I had a hard time breathing just while walking to pick up groceries, & my eyes were burning the entire time. Officially we were told the air quality warnings were removed this morning and we were now fine.
I really doubt it, as all I could smell was smoke the entire time I was outside shopping and my eyes are still sore (now hours later).

Anyway, I did something I hate to do in the summer, I decided to hop on the treadmill for a quick 5K when I got home from shopping, rather than abuse my eyes & lungs any more.

    Aug:

    01/08 - 13.34km / 8.29 miles
    02/08 - 6.13km / 3.81 miles
    03/08 - 0km
    04/08 - 11.18km / 6.95 miles
    05/08 - 5.02km / 3.12 miles

    Total = 35.68km / 22.17 miles (Goal - 161Km / 100 miles)

@quilteryoyo Happy Birthday! That Looks Like a great run you did to celebrate!

I am logging 2 runs. Today I ran 10.2km and yesterday 9.1km. I am enjoying the route and my final days out here on Long Island. We have gone to lots of beaches and done other things but I am glad there usually seems to be time for me to get a nice run in.

There is always a lot to look at during my runs - first and foremost being for traffic as there are generally no sidewalks. But also deer, turkeys, and lately golfers, as I have been running “through” the golf course. There are no shortage here of nice waterfront views. I’m sure I’ll miss it. The kids will too! On the other hand, I enjoy never having to watch and/or listen to cars in Germany and the kids seem to be tired of talking in English ;) - there’s always a trade off. ….And we can always come back in a couple years.

    39.8/250km for August.

@Laurz9191 Thanks for the travelogue. It is so nice coming here and seeing all the locations we've visited.

I enjoy never having to watch and/or listen to cars in (all places)

Yup, I could not agree more. I was carless for ten years when I lived in a nice city. Now, I contribute to the traffic, but try to drive as little as possible.

Now I am old and not so fearless for riding my bike everywhere.

Hey @daria0919, "My husband is doing great! He’s back to work." that's such good news. Modern medicine can occasionally be miraculous. What's your running plan going forward?
