Thanks @deepwoodslady. We are all works in progress. Mine just has been progressing the wrong way lately. The good news is that I'm technically still at a "healthy" weight. I'd still technically be in the healthy BMI range if I gained another pound and change. I'd also still technically be at a healthy weight if I lost 40 pounds, but I would be way too tiny in my estimation. My sweet spot is about 15 pounds less than I am currently. I maintained that weight for three years before slowly slipping back up. I've been up and down since then. I just need to stay focused if it really matters.

August 2: 195 lbs I have been hovering at this weight for a couple of months.

08/03 β 187.0 β (Trend Weight β 187.8) Iβve been battling extra hunger daily since my travel day/weight gain. My body just wants to hold on or get back to what it was at itβs highest level. Caveman level self-preservation at work I guess. Yesterday was filled with very bad choices. I had company including extra grandchildren and it was nice to have a movie night and other fun activities but I behaved (around food) like one of the children! My portions were good even if the choices were bad. So does that even count? I grade myself a solid D+. Weight is still down some today so all progress was not lost. Today is another big day with all the folks still here. Iβll do better than yesterday!

I didnβt expect week 1 to go this well. Thursday I ended up throwing up my dinner, but not sure why. And, Saturday was house cleaning day. I burned almost 3000 calories, but I allowed that to be a deficit and ate my calorie goal which pu me in the negative.
Iβve already met my initial August goal, but Iβm not going to change it to a lower number. Iβm just going to keep going. If I lose more, good. If I donβt lose anymore in August and maintain this weight, thatβs ok too. Just going to try not to gain the rest of August.

Keep up the great work, everyone! I had a small overeating episode last eveningβI basically wanted to hoover the fridge and I'm not sure whyβ¦maybe I didn't eat enough calories during the day.
