    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
    December 31, 2024 Weight: 158.0 (10-day average 157.2)
    July 26 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 155.4 (10-day average 155.4)
    August goal: Get below the top of maintenance weight range (153 pounds)
    Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)

    Total loss for August: Posting a day early; I will be away from scale tomorrow. I'm down a third of a pound this month, which is better than a gain. I'm down 2.1 pounds for the year. Not great, but I'm still in a healthy weight range even if it's higher than I want.

    For better or worse, I weigh daily and there were a lot of fluctuations this week. I was prescribed prednisone for a back issue and I'm in the tapering stages of it thankfullyβ€”I think that was the main cause of the roller-coaster ride. Also had an A1C drawn and it showed that I was "pre-diabetic" but at the lowest range of the scale (5.7%). The doctor didn't seem too concerned but I'm a little freaked out. πŸ˜• One last rant, the scale at the doctor's office weighed me in at almost 7 pounds higher than at home! Granted, I had shoes and clothes on, but wowza, what a kicker. I'm going to ignore that weight and keep on with my home scale because I'm not sure what else to do, lol. Have a good Saturday all! ❀️
