Why do the updates remove my history and I have to look everything up again.

This needs to be fixed. I dont want to take the time to scan everything again when its the same foods I ate last week and been eating...

Same issue. I have the same peanut butter every day. Where'd it go??

Ok I will file a ticket but as you can see above I'm not the only one having this issue. And it's actually worse as when you go in and can't find anything the choice to pick a bar code disappears and you have to leave the add food screen, back to the diary and then pick a meal again and start over to go back to get the bar code reader. I will post to zendesk.

I am having this issue as well. It is extremely frustrating! Please fix this!

Right, but if you don't write in to provide us further details and perform some troubleshooting, it's not possible to help you. Unless literally every person using the program is having this issue, we need further information in order to nail down exactly where the problem is and why it's happening.

Thanks for writing in- I wouldn't suggest it if it wasn't necessary. Anyone else experiencing this problem, I implore you to also write in to ensure we can actually help you.

Same issue here on Android phone - I type in Quaker and my oatmeal would pop up, but now it offers several choices with my usual at the bottom

And, when entering a custom meal (my morning coffee, milk, etc) it enters my chicken meal instead. But if I open the coffee meal and then hit the checkmark top right to enter, it goes in correctly.

Something is amiss someplace. Thanks for attention to this

like come on guys. You can add a food today and you won't be able to add it again. First picture of my diary today with mushrooms on it. Next picture is me trying to add mushrooms again.

Having same issue. Thankfully I created Meals for my commonly eaten meals and those did not get wiped. This has happened before and was fixed.

They need to hire better developers and QA testers. The amount of bugs in heavily used features that are being shipped with every big update is making me (and probably alot of users) want to use another food tracking app.

I'm also having the same issue, with almost all of my saved foods gone after recent update. There are a handful remaining, including some of my custom meals. Like others have stated, it is very frustrating and time- consuming to have to practically start over building my list again. I don't know that it should make a difference, but I'm using my android phone app.

    Same issue here.

I have a particular coffee with a relatively higher calorie count that I literally enter every single day. After the update, when I type my usual "cof…" it is no where to be found. Same with my vegetable medley, tortillas, picante, cheese, dill dip, pickles, sour cream, oats, snacks, etc… These are foods I eat several times a week. Most are specific brands that I have either entered the bar code or manually entered the calories, sometimes a week ago, others a year ago. They used to all come up if I just types a few letters. Now I'm having to either 1) hope I still have the bar code/nutrition information or 2) scrolling through a huge database to hope I can find them. This is EXTREMELY time consuming for those of us who have been using the app for a long time and/or eat consistent foods all the time.

I already submitted a ticket and got a boiler pot copy/paste response asking me a list of questions that I had included the answer to in my ticket, and asking me to do a bunch more time consuming install/uninstall/look up versions/write an email/reboot/yaddayadda on top of the time consuming re-entering all my foods.

If this many users are having the exact same problem after the update, you shouldn't need tons of customers to bog down customer support and emails doing the exact same trouble shooting (which, by the way, is also free time/labor on OUR part to help find YOUR error/bug, for a service many of us PAY YOU to handle properly). It's obviously a problem with the update, not a specific user.

If nothing else, maybe you could tell us how to uninstall the latest update so we can just go back to business as usual instead of having to re-scan/re-enter the hundreds of items we have used consistently on a regular basis for months/years.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else. It's obviously a database lookup issue. Very frustrating. I have to go back and look through past days to find anything, now.

Ticket filed on the 27th... but ZERO response other than a list of general items to try. And there also appears to be no way to look at status of the ticket I filed in the automated system. So I have no idea whether it was actually filed or just in some queue someplace...

Same problem. Please at least add this to the list of known issues so we can track when it's fixed.

Filed a ticket also. It's been "escalated to tier 2". I wonder how many tiers it has to go through before it's finally fixed??

Still not fixed and no comment back from "support". Its really frustrating... as a developer I don't think this is that hard to find a fix for... at least give us some eta. My daughter is using a free app... and it works. Maybe ill just switch to that if I have to continuously try enter everything.

With the last update i can't search by brand anymore for my recent food and half my recent searches are gone that I enter every week now I got to look up everything again and find the right one through 20 inaccurate items and cant use the barcode scanner since its only on the expensive premium. Need to make it so any food you enter stays on there saved to enter it for other days. This app use to be really good and it helped me alot but now its unusable now its just too complicated and inconvenient having to enter everything manually. Wish could go back to the way the app used to be when it was easy to use and free.

Same here! Some of my recent items that I normally log everyday are not showing up and just like you, I have to weed through multiple inaccurate versions of the product I want.

Also, since one of the recent additions, when I cooy a meal from the day before, it will give an absurd macro amount for the meal (example: 5000 calories and 300g carbs for an okios yogurt). Strangely, it will copy over correctly, but that initial screen will show this.

Overall, the recent few updates leave a lot to be desired but instead leave a ton of bugs to work out.

Thank you for reporting this! Our team is fully aware of the problem some Android users may not see items in their history when searching for foods they have previously logged. We are actively working to identify the root cause and will aim to resolve it as quickly as possible!

I sure hope they are actually looking at this and fix it, soon. I commented here August 28 about also having issues with food items that have been in my list no longer showing up when entering on the app with my android phone. I checked yesterday, as I'm still having the issue and still frustrated, to see if there were any answers. I went to submit a ticket but saw that it is shown as a known issue and it states that if my issue was listed, not to submit a ticket, to know that it is being looked into. Just now, I went to enter a food that I entered 3 days ago, and was showing in my list at that time, and it is no longer showing in my list - on the app. I, again, went to the website and see that ALL my foods are listed there and then selected what I was trying to enter from there. Went back to the app, and low-and-behold, it doesn't show that it was entered from the website, but does show when I look back on the website. This is getting more and more frustrating! I use the free app and can only imagine how frustrated those that pay for the app must be feeling. And yes, yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, as they've suggested and it does nothing.
