I’m here. Every round is a refortified commitment to my longterm goals. R307 will be a “leveling down” to territory I’ve been to before but only as visits to a short-term rental. I want to live there permanently. Let’s kick it up a notch! BHAG here we come!

🔥 Round 3️⃣0️⃣7️⃣ 🔥Yep, changing the plan, but not the goal. Vacation put me over the top, and it's coming off slowly (always), but looking back at many rounds this year….my plan isn't working. Part of the problem is me, not following the plan 100% and the other problem is me, expecting miracles when I did follow the plan. I was working on IF and found that I did ok, until I opened my window, and then it was an eating frenzy until I closed the window. Even though I planned for 80% of meals, I would add a few snacks, either hitting the top of my calorie goal or going over… My year long trend is horrendous….excluding vacation, I was basically maintaining (the higher weight).
The change:
I experimented with a continuous blood glucose monitor a while back. I learned that my blood sugar did not spike and crash after eating, but remained relatively stable, but I did nothing with that information. Using this information, I think I can plan 3 meals a day with 2 to 3 snacks…in other words, small meals throughout the day. Planning those meals (and I have the time to plan it), I can still stay in my calorie range and not go beserk because "it's TIME to eat".#KeepShowingUp #ProgressNotPerfection #KeepMovingForward #FueledByVanity
I like that I copy this info every 10 days, which forces me to read it again and hopefully reinforce it!!
My goals are SMART - just not including all the details here:

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 307 (my 237th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- an additional goal for me (again) this round is to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
Sooooh, 9 days we fly out for our annual holiday; in that time, I should be able to lose 2 pounds, so that is my personal challenge, I want to be in the 140's by then. I can do it if I use my will power.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose 2 pounds. Good luck for success everyone.

8/29 176.2 Starting off with a bang! I made a poor food choice in the afternoon. The worst part is that it didn’t really taste good. I wasn’t super hungry. I could have stopped and just had something else. It’s been a while since I had “menu anxiety” where I can’t make up my mind and panic order something outside the realm of normalcy for me.
That is what I did yesterday. I proceeded to eat food I didn’t like because I didn’t want to draw attention to myself or offend anyone. So silly.This did not do great things for my inner monologue.
Even my sleep was bad. But this morning I do have a better perspective on the whole thing.
How about it would have been fine to understand I wasn’t hungry and just not order anything! Or order a to go meal to be brought with the check for later.Oh well, hopefully I learned something. The uptick should come down quick. Of course it’s a holiday weekend so I’m going to have to pay extra attention to not go wildly out of range and sabotage the bit of progress I’ve been making.

Yesterday was a day of reckless abandonment. I lived my life like someone else was in charge of my physical wellbeing. I logged it all and it reads like an episode of “Dateline.” I can hear the grey haired Keith Morrison saying, “he SAID he was interested in taking care of his body,…. but what really happened on that beautiful afternoon on August 28th of 2025?”

SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020 – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)

8/29 – 127.4 solidly confused. Yesterday’s scale fight made no sense, and odd numbers returned again this morning. Not fighting with it. Will continue as is and see what the number is when I can next weigh on my home scale (same brand, same model and they always align) next Wednesday. I will also have my travel scale back home if a "deciding vote" is needed. Yesterday was slightly over target, but again in maintenance range. So a notable gain is not in the cards. There was a lot of salt yesterday, including fully tracked restaurant dining in the evening. Dining out again today. The ride continues…..

8/29- 167.9 - I wasn't sure how this was going to go since I had been awake and had a bit of water for awhile before weighing. However, I was fasting due to labs so I figured it was my best bet for getting a weigh in done. I've been feeling rather bloated and heavy but I'm guessing much of that has to do with my body's response to the trauma and I'm starting to settle in now. My steps were terribly low yesterday - I've already walked more today before lunch than I did all day yesterday. And that's without pain meds (which I need food or I get terribly nauseous - I've taken them now, but couldn't until I got home from lab work an hour ago). My goal is hitting my water intake, focusing on my body's signals but making sure I eat to provide nutrients for healing, but not stuffing myself just to hit macros. I'm dropping drastically in the challenge because I'm unable to hit my workout or PR points (which is 9 points a day) so I've just given up altogether on it. My goal going forward is to get as much movement as I safely can to stay active while allowing myself to heal. I'm going to be intuitively eating (I'll log for awareness, but not aiming to hit anything except protein and fiber - just listening to hunger cues) and I'm aiming to maintain 100+ oz of water daily.@_JeffreyD_ not to worry, you can't get rid of my on here that easily! I still need my accountability and friends to keep my spirits high 💜
@itladyee thank you for your well wishes . I'm glad that I've put such a focus on getting healthier so my body is primed to be much better at healing and recovery than it used to be when I wasn't focused on health. I'm confident I'll bounce back.

8/29 DNW I’m here y’all! I just had a crazy day yesterday and a crazier morning running late to a tennis lesson. Then it poured. My day is discombobulated.
