walked and skipped a 5K yesterday! yes, I said 'skipped'. I found that adding skipping adds a boost of cardio and works different muscle group. It's also supposed to help maintain balance (which at my age I need).

For the next 5 weeks, I am taking a break from my MFP goals.
Next Friday the 26th, I will be having open-heart surgery (CABG). The surgery is expected to help relieve chest pain, improve function, and prevent another heart attack.
As my situation improves, I will update everyone. Just didn’t want the extra pressure of MFP goals. Expected full recovery in 4-6 weeks.

Just because you'll be recovering and taking a break from MFP goals, doesn't me you can't log in and leave comments! let us know how you're doing!! Your MFP goals should never cause you pressure but instead use MFP as your sound board. We're here to listen. 🙏❤️
