I don't. I just plan an evening snack into my diet.

^^^^^ this. I realized that my evening snack is quite possibly my favorite time of day. The kids are finally in bed and my day is finally slowing down and I enjoy the snack...so I figure in about 150-300 calories for a snack

I save room for my evening popcorn, especially if I'm watching a movie or tv show. I pop it with light oil on the stove then add a tiny bit of melted butter and parmesan cheese. Eat the kernels one by one. Works for me. I think at 2.5 cups it comes out to around 200 calories, plus it has fiber in the corn.

Don't avoid it. Just choose a healthy option.
