Nice @chris_in_cal! I'd love that temp for a Turkey Trot! Ours tend to be a bit chillier even though they're a month earlier. Just think, since you're getting up so early, that's a perfect time to get the turkey in the oven 😁.

    Nice runs & walks @kgirlhart, @tarun_yadavA, @WarmJellyfish, @daria0919, & @nossmf!

Nov runs (all Treadmill unless otherwise stated):
    01/11 - 0km - Rest day
    02/11 - 6.47km / 4.02 miles
    03/11 - 7.27km / 4.52 miles
    04/11 - 6.18km / 3.84 miles - Outside!🤸‍♂️!
    05/11 - 0km - Rest day
    06/11 - 5.89km / 3.66 miles
    07/11 - 0km - Cycling - 26.34km
    08/11 - 7.53km / 4.68 miles
    09/11 - 5.65km / 3.51 miles
    10/11 - 6.53km / 4.06 miles
    11/11 - 5.12km / 3.18 miles
    12/11 - 0km - Rest day
    13/11 - 5.71km/ 3.55 miles
    14/11 - 5.07km/ 3.15 miles
    15/11 - 7.64km / 4.75 miles
    16/11 - 10.99km / 6.83 miles
    17/11 - 11.28km / 7.01 miles
    18/11 - 5.10km / 3.17 miles
19/11 - 6.47km / 4.02 miles (nothing much of interest in the spoiler)

    Total = 102.92km / 63.95 miles (Goal - 132Km / 82 miles)

Woke to bad leg/hip nerve pain again today. Spent extra time on exercises/stretches; helps a bit.
Had a physio appointment with a new guy as my former PT changed locations. The new PT was pretty good, really worked my leg/hip out & it felt good enough that I decided to push the planned rest day into the future & get another run in.

Beautiful (but chilly) today when I got home from appointment but kept the run inside as I was doing laundry & making some chicken broth while running.
Stopped a couple of times during the run to take care of/check on the other two items but figured my treadmill appreciated the pause 'cooldown' time anyway.

Just have the radio on in the background now & they're forecasting a cloudy 10⁰ C for Friday & a sunny🌞 Sunday of 9⁰ C. Hopefully the wind will be calm🤞 as I'd love to get outside for a run or two before the snow hits us again.

    Nice running @kgirlhart , @tarun_yadavA , @nossmf , and @WarmJellyfish .

Nice cold running @John772016 . My guess would be that the hoodie made the most difference as I've read somewhere that you lose a whole lot of heat out of the top of your head. I'm glad you like your new PT. Hoping you have nice weather over the weekend for an outdoor run.

@chris_in_cal Congrats on signing up for the Turkey Trot. You're doing to nail it with all the training you've been doing.

Glad you are feeling better @daria0919 . Yeah for your walking pad.

    46.10/80 miles goal

I thought last week was going to be the hard week to get my workouts in, but this week has proven, so far, to be harder. I think it's because I wasn't scheduled to work, but was called in both Mon and yesterday and still had other things I had to get done. So, minimal workouts it was.

Monday I didn't get up until 8 and had a text that I was needed at the daycare. I told them I could work from 11-4:15. That only gave me time for a mile walk on the treadmill before heading out. Tennis was fun, but I didn't feel like any of us played up to our normal level. We didn't switch partners this time. My partner and I won the first one and lost the next two.

Yesterday, I had things I really needed to do. I started by vacuuming the floors. As I was resting a couple of minutes before heading out to clean the gutters, daycare texted again. The director had a family emergency, so they needed me to come in and help cover lunch breaks. I told them I would. I did get 3 of the gutters cleaned out before I left.

I only worked from 11:50-2:40, came home and finished cleaning out the gutters and blowing the leaves off of the porches and driveway before doing a treadmill mile. I decided on the treadmill because I was tired and it would keep me moving…no choice to slow down. 🤣 Afterwards, I went back to town for a meeting.

Today was my normal Wednesday. Mom and I did some shopping, Bible study, and more shopping. After I got home, I did a driveway walk before dinner and heading out for Bible study at mom's old church.

So, the week has been tough on the running front, but I have gotten things done and I haven't been lazy, just busy.

    11/11: 6.02 miles
    11/12: 5.12 miles
    11/13: 6.05 miles

    11/17: 5.25 miles
    11/18: 5.25 miles
    11/19: 5.62 miles

    87.18/140 miles completed for November

I ran 5.62 miles today. My pace was 11:53, so getting a little bit faster. The weather was great again and I felt good. There were 3 dogs that ran up to me and scared me. They were in their unfenced yard and I was running on the sidewalk. I have never seen these dogs before. Luckily they were friendly and there was a man outside with them and he promptly called them back. I was definitely startled by them. We have rain in the forecast. I may have to run on the treadmill tomorrow. I'll have to see what it is actually like in the morning.

@daria0919 I hope you feel better soon.

WOW! great Thursday long on @tarun_yadavA @quilteryoyo you HAVE been busy and sounds like you have been the go to person for the daycare. And still getting your streak alive.

I skipped running yesterday morning (altho I did a walk after work)and am at 72.5 mles out of 100 for the month so still doing ok. Altho it is supposed to rain later today looks like it is holding off here this morning so we will see if the day off has reenergized me. I know it's supposed to but sometimes I feel worse … I am hoping we get some cooler weather soon as the mosquitos are quite awful in the evenings and I am seeing bites now from earlier walks and tennis this week.

PS @daria0919 hope you are feeling better!

    Happy running everyone

So I learnt I'm going to have to modify my training plan for the next few months to account for weather. I dont have a threadmill so every run is outdoors Next week might average -10c/14f. Planned tempo run last night didnt happen. Lots of leftover ice icy snow from the dump day before made it super slick, tippy toeing a lot. Too early for spikes tho. Maybe i should I learn how to skirun ... 😂
