that looks really good- Thanks for posting. Reminded me that I have some premade lentils that I can warm up for dinner tonight. DH wants steak and rice. Not a big fan of steak and for sure not today.
I may take a little of his rice to mix in with my lentils- He has to have Japanese sticky rice and that is my least favorite of any rice.

Michelle, I use L’Oréal Revitalist also, but prefer RoC. I use the Derm correction Firming Serum Stick with Advanced Retinol, plus RoC night time cream and also day cream. The Firming Serum stick is something new, but works for me. I use the serum twice a day then top with the appropriate cream. I prefer using the same brand. I tried Revitalist, but don’t think it works as well as RoC. Walmart carries both and the price is about the same. I use both every day. The desert is very dry so need it all the time. I’ve only been using it for the past year and love the results.

Bought some cute Christmas earrings to help me with my determination to enjoy the Holidays. My son calls almost every day and is celebrating 50 days clean today. I congratulated him profusely to boost his ego. He needs all he can get in this process. My DH is very depressed. The holidays are worse for him because his 2 girls have not called him or visited him since the first 5 years of us being together. We are on 32 years together this year. AND most of my family stays in touch with me. That really bothers him. We have the name and address of his oldest daughter and I’ve reached out to her for him, but she replied for me not to ever contact her again. I wish I know what happened between them.

Enough of this depressing talk. Lucy is doing great. I’m sorry I talk about her like my child, but she almost takes the place of my children. Reminds me of the kids when they were small!

    •  Nacho cheese.

Tomorrow we hope to have a viewing with 2, 4 bedroom homes, and son can still live with us when he gets out of the Navy, help with rent, and his stuff can stay with us, and not in a storage unit.

We are now looking at 2 of the larger homes, and hope to view them tomorrow. Son wants to stay "a unit", and has no problem helping with the rent. Financially it will be better for us. The sons stuff can just be put in his room. It will be 4 years until he gets out of the Navy now.

Lisa - thank you, the drama is much more than I like dealing with. Rodger and I actually did get a chance to talk alone tonight on the way to dinner, it’s good that we are on the same page. It’s just a shame I have to do most of the communicating. I guess it’s fair since I didn’t tell him I was bringing her home with me until 3 hours after the ticket was booked. 😂 I didn’t give him much choice or say in the matter.

Rebecca - I hope you get the place you want. I’m with Flea you wouldn’t be moving until after Christmas so I would keep it up.

Melanie - we currently live in 720sq ft. I honestly don’t know if I could go smaller and really wish we had at least one more room.

Heather- the healthcare system seems to be in distress everywhere.

Debbie - I hope you received some help at the dentist.

Lanette - the rules here with banks have changed so much that things you used to be able to do you can’t now.
All of this online stuff has made customer service miserable. I think the only ones that really like it are the scammers and thieves.

Rita - I’m sorry for your DH, that has to be difficult.

My MIL had a good birthday. When Kaitlyn, Brodey and her were waiting at the truck stop for us a man overheard Kaitlyn say it was her birthday. He went and bought her three scratch tickets and brought them back to the table for her. She said, “he didn’t know me from a crossroad in Ireland, it was awfully nice of him. Before we left the restaurant she knew his name and that he’s a regular so she can let him know if she wins anything.
Brodey bought our dinner too, which wasn’t expected but for sure appreciated.

    I’m off to bed.
    Have a great night
