I tend to agree. I think the young ladies look better, because obviously they care, and appreciate their bodies. And actually the sweat might actually add to it, since you know that they are not afraid to get sweaty and can appreciate a good workout. (The last comment can be taken BOTH ways.)

But saying that the Gym is there to workout, not to socialize, and not pick-up chicks. But I can appreciate it all the same.

I don't get it. What do you mean "BOTH ways"? Is there more than one way to be in the gym? Please explain more what you intended to say.

..... I think the young ladies look better, because obviously they care, and appreciate their bodies......
So, us older ladies (I am 40), don't care or appreciate our bodies???? I have cared about my body more in the last 18 months than I ever have before (and yes, I was sporty before I got fat). Now, in my old age, I am in the best shape of my life, and I APPRECIATE it. And I worked damn hard for it, and will continue to do so.

But I do agree, I don't go to the gym to socialise or pick up. I am there to push myself to my limits, that is all,

Now this stuff annoys me. I look like **** when I am exercising, yet people always expect women to look like a perfectly made up version of themselves. I have sweat dripping down my face. Even when I was skinny, way back when, I looked like **** exercising. I don't want people to be judging the way I look when I go to the gym. No offense, but people with OP's attitude are the reason I avoid gyms.

Which means you are actually working out at the gym XD

at 4:23 Jenna Marbles addresses this and shows how she looks when she wants to look good, versus how she looks when she is exercising. It's worth it to watch the whole thing though.

Haha very funny semi-subtle sexual undertones. Lol.

I'll break the train of sarcasm. He means screwing. Getting a good work out between the cheats.

Sorry I messed up quoting that last one. I don't think guys are as critical of us ladies as we think. There have been many times when I think I look like crap, and my boyfriend thinks I look totally sexy.

IMO, the gym should be used to try and look your best and get to your goal. People shouldn't worry about other people judging their looks, or stroking someone's ego.

As a fat girl, this attitude is the reason I avoid gyms. People say "everyone is too busy working out to care about how you look." And then I read a post like this, and realize what those people say is bull. blech.

Lighten up females! TrevPimp has an excellent point, in that when I am in the gym, I too notice "the ladies" and think about sexualling them.

I hope you are being sarcastic, and realize that this is exactly what a lot of us DON'T want.

Listen I can't help my hungry eyes. I don't do anything though. It's like going to a museum. It's okay to look at all the fly *kitten* paintings on the wall, just as long as you don't try sexualling thems.

And then if you do look made up (i.e., wearing makeup) at the gym you get judged for that too. There's no winning.
