I just thought I looked like a hot sweaty mess, hair scrapped back, specs on, beast mode on0

I tend to agree. I think the young ladies look better, because obviously they care, and appreciate their bodies. And actually the sweat might actually add to it, since you know that they are not afraid to get sweaty and can appreciate a good workout. (The last comment can be taken BOTH ways.)
But saying that the Gym is there to workout, not to socialize, and not pick-up chicks. But I can appreciate it all the same.0 -

I don't get it. What do you mean "BOTH ways"? Is there more than one way to be in the gym? Please explain more what you intended to say.0 -

But I do agree, I don't go to the gym to socialise or pick up. I am there to push myself to my limits, that is all,0 -

What the bros the bro? Don't tell me I didn't look good doing those squats yesterday.0

Now this stuff annoys me. I look like **** when I am exercising, yet people always expect women to look like a perfectly made up version of themselves. I have sweat dripping down my face. Even when I was skinny, way back when, I looked like **** exercising. I don't want people to be judging the way I look when I go to the gym. No offense, but people with OP's attitude are the reason I avoid gyms.0

at 4:23 Jenna Marbles addresses this and shows how she looks when she wants to look good, versus how she looks when she is exercising. It's worth it to watch the whole thing though.0 -

Sorry I messed up quoting that last one. I don't think guys are as critical of us ladies as we think. There have been many times when I think I look like crap, and my boyfriend thinks I look totally sexy.0

As a fat girl, this attitude is the reason I avoid gyms. People say "everyone is too busy working out to care about how you look." And then I read a post like this, and realize what those people say is bull. blech.0 -

just stop right there man....0 -
Clearly I have never been to your gym, buddy.0

Lighten up females! TrevPimp has an excellent point, in that when I am in the gym, I too notice "the ladies" and think about sexualling them.0

Listen I can't help my hungry eyes. I don't do anything though. It's like going to a museum. It's okay to look at all the fly *kitten* paintings on the wall, just as long as you don't try sexualling thems.0 -

And then if you do look made up (i.e., wearing makeup) at the gym you get judged for that too. There's no winning.0
