I mentioned to a friend of mine that once I lost my weight and am in shape I wanted to get a couple of kilts to start wearing occasionally, not only because I think it's a cool look but also they look very comfortable. Her reaction was to say it wasn't normal for men to wear skirts.( I corrected her on the point it was a kilt NOT a skirt). I have since asked several other lady friends and have gotten responses from that to it would be awesome!
So ladies, what say you about men wearing kilts?

If you like it, I love it and even if I don't love it, if you like it, rock your kilt. I've seen kilts, the tartan type and the utilikilt type, done well and done not so well but mostly my definition of well is based on how hot I thought the wearer was. Just be prepared for girls with mirrors on their shoes or ones who have the audacity to lift it up for a peek.

i have very little opinion on kilts, other than if it's comfy and makes you happy more power to you.

i'd just like to say that your badassery shines through with the choice of username and profile picture.

    make it so, good sir.

most definitely yes, I met an Irishman 20 years ago in Scotland and married him, the kilt is a big yes, and I still love seeing my gorgeous Irishman dressed up in his kilt :)

    Hell yeah!

    BUT

They have to be properly made kilts. Don't care whether they're tartan, leather or rainbow-coloured silk brocade, if it isn't properly made it's a school skirt rather than a kilt.

Personally: Scottish men in kilts - yea. Non-Scots in kilts, not so keen.

I have to wear one as part of our ceremonial uniform. The ladies seem to like it. As for comfort... Not as comfortable as you would think.

If you feel comfortable in wearing 1, why not

I'm all for it if it's Brian Moloko or Jonathan Davis rocking the kilt.

Lolol personally the Braveheart look does nothing for me, just reminds me of Scottish weddings.
But if you really want to wear one then why not?
It's just clothes. Be prepared to be stared at
