This is more of a grammatical irritant but I go mad over "you're" and "your" being used in the wrong context. The same with "Their", "There" & "They're".

    My biggest pet peeves!

I really cannot stand when people say preggers or prego instead of pregnant.

Gesundheit annoys me. Just say God bless you when someone sneezes.

Also the word used as in I used to do whatever it is you did before. That bugs me.

    and

Veggies - grow up and say vegetables.

Oh and that was delish - I hate the word, it's not a word.

"Going forward" -- more of a corporate thing

I also strongly dislike when people agree with you and overly verbalize it "Okay okay okay" or "Oh yeah yeah yeah"

I really abhor baby talk. All of it. I know adult women who use it in conversation with fellow adults. Its bad enough when gibberish is spewed at children but using it in everyday conversation? Beyond ridiculous.

Bad grammar and a poor grasp of the English language is also irritating.

    As is superfluous swearing.

    /end rant/

HATE it when people use the words "Hon" "Honey" or "Dear" or the like, when they don't know you, and especially when they are younger then you..

pecker and moist are the worst words in existence

    This exactly.
"Moist..." There is never an appropriate time to use that word.

"Am I bad?" What are you still 9 -12 years old stuck on cartoons ? Grow up and use proper English if you want respect.

I can't stand the word panties. ::shudder:: I am all about grammar, even when texting. I can't stand when people text or type ur, u, b4, etc. It's not that hard to add a couple more letters.

The term, "besties". Who in God's name decided to form this word and use it as such? Grow up and use the term,"best friend", when describing someone.

Haha that phrase frustrated me for years until someone explained it to me! They should really say " you can't possess your cake and eat it too." That would make a little more sense. Lol.

"toned" muscle can be built, or broken down, not "toned"

I hate the word yummy with a passion. I also hate when anyone refers to a "tummy" or "belly" when not speaking to somebody under six years old.

"Chillax". I have no idea why it annoys me, it just does.

"Literally" for clearly non-literal things irritates me highly.

"Differently abled" annoys me slightly, but "handicapable" makes me want to get violent. I am not handicapable, I am disabled, and it does neither of us any good to pretend it's something other than what it is.
