I just read this WHOLE THREAD and am overwhelmed by the changes in so many people.
Here's what I got:
At the end of May I started working out with a kettle bell. The workouts were about 12 minutes long and I couldn't get through a single one without skipping some stuff or moderating some stuff, and I was drenched in sweat and worn the hell out.
Now I can complete 2 of the workouts back-to-back with zero moderations and skipping nothing! And I'm pretty damn proud of that.
Woot! You rock! :drinker:0 -

I encourage you to motivate yourself by anticipating where you are going.. and not by beating yourself up for where you have been.

This photo was taken after I finished a really fun run a few weeks ago. It was overcast when I started down my favourite trail but after 10-15 minutes the sky opened up and dropped what felt like a full day's worth of rain on my head. In less than two minutes I was completely soaked and too far away from the car to bother turn around, deciding to play along I continued to run the rest of the trail. The rain stopped as suddenly as it started and the sun returned before I was finished my run - of course! I received more than one funny look as I snapped this photo... I'm sure everyone was wondering if I fell into the lake or if I just decided to jump in fully clothed.
Yes, I would totally do it again!0 -
That's awesome! Actually looks quite refreshing! lol0

I lost the last 10 pounds pretty much by dancing. I wasn't allowed to lift or to heavy workout due to medical reasons. Mireygal reminded me I can dance! WOOT!
