Am I the only person who doesn't log water?
Yes. The only one.0 -
H2O...anything else isn't water.0

Water counts as water. Tea, flavored water, soda, juice, etc. They are all mostly water. Adding something to the water doesn't make it less water, anymore than eating something while drinking the water makes it less water.0

i only count my plain water and tea as water. everything else is just bonus i guess. its not like it something that needs restricting so the more the better !0

I log water as water. If I drink anything else, it goes under my 'drinks' category. Calories and all that jazz, you know.0

Thank you for clarifying, now I can sleep well tonight.0 -
Water. And seltzer water.
Club soda contains sodium. Coffee (even decaffeinated) contains caffeine as do many diet drinks. And artificial flavorings have chemicals. Each of them is dehydrating.
I don't pretend not to drink all of these. But I don't count them as water. In fact, according to something I read, you should have an ounce of water for every ounce of a dehydrating beverage consumed.

Personally, I count any liquid that isn't alcohol.
It's about hydration, not water.
And some people count alcohol. It's a personal preference. If you're not dehydrated, you're getting enough liquid.0 -
I only count water, puuure water. My most extreme length would be to accept ice cubes in an equivalent capacity.
I drink black coffee, but don't log it, same as I don't log vegetables (unless in a vast quantity)0 -

I only count water, any other drinks including my coffee addiction go under food.0

Weight watchers allows the first two cups of coffee or tea as water. I count those, real water and herbal tea as liquids.
I am old-ish and if I don't get at least 8 glasses of fluid a day I do get dehydrated - so, I count!
Always try to go over. :drinker:0 -

I count saliva as water. It's interesting trying to measure that but once you've done it long enough you it gets easier. I used to measure water teaspoon by teaspoon and see how it felt in my mouth. Then I would make sure to save up the amount of saliva it took to make a teaspoon and then swallow. That way I was as accurate as possible.0
