The McDouble Down

I think it is hilarious that you put a salad with this!! Why bother at that point LOL!
Good for you though, you should trademark this before McDonalds does.
Salad is never pointless. Gosh, do you not eat your veggies? SHAME!0 -
I'd hit it.
Second that.0 -
Hahaha!0

That is awesome! I will do that sometime - I bet it is super filling!0

This man is my hero. I'm going to go make one of those right now.

Only 36grams of protein? That seems quite low for 570 cals, means it is only 25% protein. the KFC double down has 54 grams protein for 600 cals which is 36%, much better macro. I guess that is due to how much "filler" is in the McChicken "chicken" meat.0

I'll see your McDouble Down and raise a Big McChicken!
Awwww hell...it just got real up in here

Like the idea, but needs a new name. The McDouble Down is a combination of a Double Down and a McDouble. Yours is a McDouble-Chicken. Transitive property applies to naming conventions.0

It's a McGangbang Light0

Wrap that thing in some lettuce and add a tomatoe and you got him beat.0 -
There was a time when this would be appealing, lol. While I don't boycott McD, I put my creativity to use in making other concoctions. But kudos on your inventiveness0

OK. This is by far the BEST thing I have seen/read/learned today.
I will be all over this, and soon....very soon.0 -
Cool - but since I'm staying on 20 grams of carbs or less per day... the McChickens add too many carbs due to the breading. So instead, I just eat 3 McDoubles plain - no buns for $3 ... and if you're still hungry after that... then its time to quit those Man vs Food competitions!! ;-)
When I eat high protein & fat my cravings for sweets and carbs goes down to almost nothing and I lose fat fast when I stay on this routine for several days / couple weeks. For example, lost 7 lbs over the last week doing just that.0 -
Awesome! I shall have to try. ..soon.0

The pics are awesome and I can 'kinda' taste that as I look at it...but for so many cals and so little protein I'll pass. I'll have a protein shake instead.0

So true... doubters gonna doubt / haters gonna hateI think it is hilarious that you put a salad with this!! Why bother at that point LOL!

Maybe the salad was there as a better fit to hitting his carb macros? Or maybe he likes salad as much as meat? Why can't he have both? How is it pointless if it's helping him meet his calorie and macro goals?
I would have added a diet coke too since I don't like regular coke and watch as people judged...  :laugh:0 -
Eww no thanks it looks disgusting.0
-
mmm mm home made one i think. Next time burgers are made i'll make chicken burgers too and use them instead of buns0

Oh lord almighty. Go pollute someone else's thread with this nonsense. You don't like the food, move on.0 -
KFC Double Down. A mouthful of awesome with a colon cleanse kicker thrown in.
I just roared in laughter. Thank you for this.0 -
This has been added to the MFP database, right?0

They will take the bun off sometimes. It depends if the person that is taking the order remembers to hit the no regular bun option at McD. No, they don't charge you any less. You could make these at home from scratch. My hero!
P.S. I'm pretty sure you can order any of the sandwiches without buns. Not sure if they take money off in that case, but it's worth checking.0 -
