I've noticed that after eating pretty much any meal, that is actually a meal and not a protein bar or some yogurt, that I become increasingly cold! To the point of shivering. I also get extremely sleepy,

I only noticed it as when I was younger I would generally stay the same or feel warmer after meals.
I'm certain I'm not dying. I was just curious about what the change was.

I'm the same way! Started about a year ago. It doesn't happen every time, but at least once a day I'll get super sleepy and cold after I eat. Sometimes it's quite a struggle to stay away and sometimes I take an unscheduled nap.

I thought my blood pressure was dropping dangerously low so I asked my doctor. He told me not to worry and that it's normal! I was a bit skeptical, but I have noticed that it's starting to disappear. Maybe it has something to do with your body adjusting to a new way of eating?

Anyway, you're not alone. I found this doing a quick google search:

I'll 2nd the recommendation ... go see a doctor. It could be nothing or it could be something more serious. In my case, it led to a vitamin deficiency and low T being discovered.

    sounds like a thyroid problem

yes it generally just means that all your blood in your extremities your arms and legs has been shunted to your GI tract to digest your food.

You can see your doctor, but I can bet he'll tell you the same thing

Nope. I feel cold if I'm not eating enough or haven't eaten for a period of time.

Well, my bloodwork was fine enough for me to donate blood.
I don't know about the thyroid issue, but I'll check into it.
