It's entirely possible. On Tuesday I had a very high carb day, and on wednesday a very hard run. The result was water retention - on Thursday I went up 3.6 pounds and on Friday up another pound. This morning (Saturday) I dropped 3 of those pounds, and tomorrow I'll probably drop another 1.5 to 2 pounds, 1.5 pounds of retained water, and my half pound loss for the week. Or I might not. Weight loss isn't conveniently linear, unfortunately.0
