as a woman you don't like muscle showing on your body
That has nothing to do with her being a woman.

Yes it does. Dislike of muscle definition on their body is a characteristic exclusive to women. I'm not saying that all women dislike muscle definition.

LMAO? Really, you have never heard a man say they didn't want to get too muscular? You live in a very small world then.

The reason I keep reading these forums is for the comedy gold. I'm not sure what is better, this comment or the other about how you know women.

Keep it coming. Love this stuff!

Don't worry. He understands what women want.

Just sit back and let him tell you all about what you want.

I don't know what all women want but I do know what women crave, Brawndo.

Incidentally, it's also what plants crave.

In for Brawndo! It's got electrolytes, you know.

You misunderstand, I and only I have described exactly what this OP wanted, while the rest of you obsess over 'how can she be bulking and lose inches at the same time?' Think outside the box and stop dissecting every sentence and taking things so literally.

    I and only I.

    Dude, don't stop.

Sadly, my already big legs seem to be bulking up even more - I am beginning to see a more defined look to my legs so clearly what I'm doing is having an effect but I can't afford to bulk up my legs in this way.

Notwithstanding what some people will tell you, weight training does tend to make body parts bigger, so if you are already concerned about being large in certain areas and are training primarily for aesthetics and basic strength, you might want to train those areas less intensely, or not at all. Definitely don't train to failure.

I would have bet money that you would show up in this thread.

Please explain how the weights are making her bigger when she has said she is losing inches. The op is clearly just using the work bulky incorrectly.

THE WEIGHTS ARE NOT MAKING HER LEGS BIGGER. PLEASE STOP SAYING THIS.

and yes I am shouting. :noway:

Oh and in to learn all about what I want as a woman.

If you've lost inches, you're not bulking up or making your legs any more "bulky"

What you're doing is losing body fat and revealing the muscle underneath. That's what "toning" is basically. If you don't like the look of that much definition, add some more body fat, but I doubt you'll like that either.

I have lost inches on legs, buttocks, waist

Yes, I would go with 'you're not bulking' just defining muscle & losing fat.
