    Got in my last official sanctioned 5K of the year with an awesome PR of 39:31!!! I beat my last time of 40:27 that was done in July!!! It feels great to end the year with this awesome PR and something to smash in 2014!!!!

    Oct 20th - Threw in an extra walk
    Oct 21st - Got up at 5:30 and was out the door to do a 64 minute run/walk - avg HR of 119 bpm
    Trying to see how many weekdays in a row I can
    1. Get up between 5:15 and 5:30
    2. Get out the door before 6:00 AM to walk, run, workout at the gym
    3. Hit my Work email to catch the early mails by 7:30

    (I don't get up "early" on the weekends and try to factor in one "rest" day a week)

    Day 1 done!

    Total Miles for October: 98.8 miles

    Oct. 13th: 5 miles (*Hiking*)
    Oct. 15th: 3.25 miles (*Dreadmill*)

    Saturday- just over 10 miles on the bike followed by a 4 mile run. Also a couple of times around the block with the dog over the weekend. I'm not counting the miles I put in walking around the Craft Fair yesterday, because I didn't track it.

    I was going out for a 9 mile run this morning, but I completely missed a turn, and ended up
    running 8.1 mile :angry: :grumble: And I realized that 5 minutes after being back home. There was NO WAY
    that I was leaving again to push for another mile. I can live with that. :tongue:
    9 miles would have also bring me to my goal... Anyway, I might go out for a short run tomorrow
    morning, and after that. I'm gonna take it easy until my half on Sunday. I'll be walking and going to the gym
    but won't be logging anything in here.
    But don't worry, I'll stay around to cheer you up guys! :drinker:

    In regards to you not knowing how many miles you ran, I'm normally really obsessed with the running apps on my phone, taking screenshots, looking at them every few minutes. I see that you don't have that problem. You just run. :laugh: That must be a great feeling.

    Got in an 8.12 mile run at a 9 minute pace last Friday! Longest run yet....should be just shy of target for the month, but will make up for it with a couple long runs this week!
